Tourism Declares supports tourism businesses, organisations and individuals in declaring a climate emergency and taking purposeful action to reduce their carbon emissions.

Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency

We’re a global community of 454 tourism organisations, companies and professionals, all committed to delivering a Climate Action Plan aligned with the need to cut emissions in half by 2030.

At COP26, together with the UNWTO, UNEP, VisitScotland and the Travel Foundation, we’re launching The Glasgow Declaration for a Decade of Tourism Climate Action to scale these commitments to our entire sector.

We urge every organisation in tourism to make the same commitment.
